COMPANY PROFILE
John A. Edwards & Company was founded in 1957 on the premise that engineering services alone are not adequate. Close personal contact with clients promotes a greater understanding of the problems to be solved or the goals to be achieved. This approach has proved to be extremely conducive in stimulating good client-consulting engineer relations.
John A. Edwards & Company has the capability to provide the full spectrum of civil engineering, land planning and surveying services. While the majority of the experience of the firm has been in the areas of water supply and distribution, wastewater collection, street and highway design, drainage analyses and design, construction observation, land planning and surveying, the Firm can engage and coordinate special consultants, when needed, in order to supply complete services for clients with problems of a multidisciplinary nature.
DESIGN SERVICES
John A. Edwards & Company employs an engineering design staff of 9 employees and surveying staff of 6 employees. Eight fully equipped CAD work stations are utilized for the production of engineering and surveying drawings using AutoCad 2002, Land Development Desktop 3 and Civil 3D 2007 engineering design packages.

SURVEYING SERVICES
John A. Edwards & Company operates three full time survey crews on staff. All surveying is coordinated from our office and not subcontracted. Immediate attention can be given to any surveying needs which may arise. All survey crews are equipped with the latest electronic technology. Electronic data collectors are utilized and data is downloaded directly to CAD systems.
